As many as 1,000 street vendors who are spread in some points in Central Jakarta, will be relocated to a 1-hectare land in Kemayoran Complex area that was granted by Kemayoran Complex Management Center (PPKK) to the Central Jakarta Administration.
Currently, the PPKK side is emptying the land, after it's done, those street vendors could be relocated immediately
Kemayoran Sub-District Head, Herry Purnama, said the street vendors are 500 vendors from Al Akbar Mosque, Jalan Benyamin Sueb Block 9/1, 400 vendors from Jiung, Jalan Kemayoran Gempol and the rests from other areas.
"Currently, the PPKK side is emptying the land, after it's done, those street vendors could be relocated immediately," he explained, Monday (8/24).

"PPKK will find CSR first for constructing the place, we hope it could be realized in the near future," he hoped.
