Cooperative action of 13 shop house owners who were willing their building to be demolished for heavy equipment access of Ciliwung River normalization project, gained appreciation from Chief of Jakarta Satpol PP, Kukuh Hadi Santoso. 

Although they have certificate and building permit, but they agreed to do it for many people's interest

Santoso told although they have land certificate and building permit, but for interest of many people, they agreed their building to be torn down, in 2014 ago. 

"Although they have certificate and building permit, but they agreed to do it for many people's interest," he told, Wednesday (8/26). 

According to him, before being demolished, the government gave compensation to them based on the taxable value of property (NJOP).

"The owners are given compensation, as they obviously have the certificate," he disclosed.
