City Prepares a Land to Accomodate PKL in Kebayoran Lama

City Administration by Jakarta Micro Small and Medium Cooperative Enterprises Department (KUMKMP) is preparing a relocation land to accommodate thousand street vendors (PKL) in Kebayoran Lama Market, South Jakarta.

Head of Micro Small and Medium Cooperative Enterprises Department Department, Irwandi acknowledged that he already gets the information from South Jakarta Mayor about 8,000 square meters land for sale around the area.

20 Lokbin in City will Be Re-Arranged

“The land is considered proper to accommodate street vendor. We’ll purchase it, its been negotiated with the owner,” he said, Thursday (8/27).

Hopefully, no more street vendors trade in restricted area. “Such land can accommodate around 4,000 street vendors,” he disclosed.
