Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat complained low city
budget absorption. Up to end of August it merely reached 2.43 percent or Rp
497.6 billion from the total amount of Rp 20.4 trillion.

Djarot urged whole Regional Working Unit (SKPD/UKPD) to increase
budget absorption until the end of this year.
“President had instructed to accelerate budget absorption. We have
no much time, just do it now,” he asserted at pattern room, City Hall, Thursday
(8/27).
Hidayat uttered the expenditure of new machine spent Rp 50
billion from provided budget of Rp 3 trillion or 1.6 percent. While building
expenditure merely 3 percent and irrigation and road spent two percent.
He asserted that the Regional Working Unit dedicated their work
for the sake of public interest.
