Windows of Flat Units in Jatinegara Barat will Be Installed with Iron Bars

Windows in each unit of Jatinegara Barat Flat, Kampung Melayu, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, start being installed with iron bars for the safety of the occupants especially kids.

Each unit has 2 windows, so all of them will be installed

The Location Responsible Side (Penjalok) of the flat, Sarkim stated, each unit gets 2 iron bars.

"Each unit has 2 windows, so all of them will be installed," he stated, Thursday (8/27).

According to him, the installation is conducted gradually as the technical staff number is limited.

"Most of units on 16th floor of A and B tower start being installed. It will be conducted gradually," he explained.

Because not all of the occupants are in the unit anytime makes the installation is troubled. "We can't ensure yet when will it be finished. The staffs are on standby for 24 hours if there are occupants need them to install the ironbars," he uttered.

Meanwhile, one of the occupants, Hera (35) claimed she was glad about the installation. As, she was afraid about the safety of her children.

"I could not leave my children if they don't sleep. I'm afraid as the windows are so short and no bars, so i hope it would be installed immediately," she explained.
