Illegal Buildings Along Jalan Kayu Mas Selatan Complained

The local residents of RW 03, Pulo Gadung Urban Village, East Jakarta, complained about tens of illegal building standing on the water channel along Jalan Kayu Mas Selatan.

Based on Beritajakarta.com, there are 26 buildings along the road.

7 Buildings in Cipulir Demolished

"We had held socialization to the building owners that their buildings have violated the rules," said Pulogadung Sub-District Head, Ahmad Hariadi.

According to him, after first socialization on last Wednesday (8/26), his party will hold another socialization on next Wednesday (9/2). His party will coordinate with East Jakarta Micro Small and Medium Cooperative Enterprises Sub-Department (KUMKMP).

He disclosed, will conduct guidance towards the street vendors that have been selling since 1979. "If the buildings are already demolished then continued with normalization. The Water Management Sub-Department is ready for it," he disclosed.
