City to Open Motor Vehichle Tax Service in Sub-District Office

Improving public service, Jakarta Tax Service will open service for Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) in sub-district office starts September 1st, 2015. For the initial phase, the service will be carried out in 5 sub-district offices.
We plan to open that service in sub-district's Local Tax Service Unit (UPPD) throughout Jakarta
Head of Jakarta Tax Service, Agus Bambang Setiowidodo mentioned the 5 sub-district offices there are, Kemayoran (Central Jakarta), Penjaringan (North Jakarta), Kebon Jeruk (West Jakarta), Pasar Minggu (South Jakarta) and Pulogadung (North Jakarta).

Setiowidodo further said the service offers are private PKB payment for annual maturity period and also vehicle ownership documents (STNK) validation.
"For institution taxpayer or taxpayer with maturity period more than a year still carried out in
Vehicle Document Registration Center (Samsat) main office," he uttered.
Section Head of Planning and Developing for Head of Jakarta Tax Service Department, Edi Sumantri added related to the matter, his side had coordinated with sub-district's party to utilize existing room and facilities provided in the office.
"We utilized existing supporting facilities. Concerning we haven't allocated the procurement into revised city budget (APBD-P).
Sumantri added Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T. Purnama together with Chief of Jakarta City Police will launch the service on upcoming September 14th at Pulogadung Sub-District.
