City Targeting No More Slums in 2019

City Administration keep focuses on arranging slum residential. The arrangement is as Central Government program implementation. That is 100-0-100, 100 percent of drinking water, 0 percent of slum residential and 100 percent of access fo citizen.

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat conveyed to manifest the program needed valid yet accuracy data. To obtain accuracy data needed the cooperation from all elements starting from Mayor, Sub-District up to RT/RW.
“The basis is in each RW (Community unit). How many slum spot and the amount of residents living in slum residential,” he said after meeting of slum residential handling and flat at City Hall, Tuesday (9/1).
In the upcoming 2019, City Administration targetted Jakarta is free from slum area. To achieve the target needed three types of planning (long, middle and short) terms.
According to him, for short term , in 2016 will be performed some steps such as data collection, communal sanitation making and infiltration well.
“While for middle and long term planning, it will be keep done and planned,” he disclosed.
