Not in Accordance with the Permit, Residential Buildings to Be Demolished

Wall of residential houses which are located at Jalan Sindang, Rawa Badak Utara Urban Village, Koja Sub-District, North Jakarta forced to be demolished again. The demolishment conducted is because the buildings is not in accordance with the maket in permission.

The license stated it's residential, but it is used as shop house instead

Head of North Jakarta City Arrangement Sub-Department, Monggur Siahaan stated, the demolishment of 6 walls of three-story building amounted to Rp 4 billion, is allegedly because there is form changing from residential to be shop house. To demolish the wall which is supposed to be not in the permission maket, his party deployed 20 personnel of Koja Sub-District Satpol PP.

"The license stated it's residential, but it is used as shop house instead. So we demolish parts that refers to the shop house, return it based on the license," he told, Thurday (7/2).

Meanwhile, the building owner claimed, there was a mistake on wall construction which conducted by contractor. According to him all the license had been processed and approved by City Arrangement Sub-Department.

"The building is purely for residential," said an occupant whose name not mentioned.
