Seribu Islands Vice Regent, M Anwar appealed all Regional Working Units (UKPD) in his area to increase the budget absorption that until this time only reaches 19 percent.

According to him, the number is declined compared with last year on the same period. However, he is optimistic until the end of this year, the budget absorption could be pushed up to minimal 80 percent. 

"We target it could be reached. As the budget expended through certain steps, such as auction, and the implementation that just need to be done," said Anwar, Tuesday (9/1). 

He also promises will keep reminding the UKPD to keep pushing the budget absorption, especially the quality programs.
