Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat revealed that the Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) must be able to synergy with cooperative in each area, including Jakarta.

Thus, those could operate well, that is by improving local economy and helping underprivileged people's economy

According to Djarot, the synergy between BUMD and cooperative would improve the local economy at a time when national economy deteriorated. Furthermore, the cooperation can also create a good BUMD and cooperative.

“Thus, those could operate well, that is by improving local economy and helping underprivileged people's economy,” he said, when he welcomed BUMD Management all over Indonesia, at City Hall, Thursday (9/3).

He added there are at least three countries that can be made as an example for Indonesia, including Jakarta over the success of the economy from a healthy cooperative they have. These countries are China, Australia and United State.

"Many Indonesian products are imported from them, their success comes from healthy cooperative and successfully run local economy and country," closed Djarot.
