Satpol PP officer controlled 25 illegal kiosks stood atop West Flood Canal (KBB), RW 01 and 10 in Grogol Urban Village and RW 11, 12, 13 in Tomang Urban Village, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta.

Grogol Petamburan Sub-District Head, Edi Mulyanto acknowledged that the controlling is conducted to refunction Jalan Inspeksi KBB as an alternative road to parse traffic congestion.

“We managed to sweep illegal kiosks in Grogol Urban Village,” he told, Thursday (9/4).

Nevertheless, he hoped related unit to immediately elevate the road due to its position is lower than railroads.

“We controlled the road because lots of locals put their belongings recklessly, such as cart and so on. They think the road is unused. We also had reported it to Bina MargaSub-Department to elevate the road,” he uttered.

He added his side has coordinated with Transportation Sub-Department to install traffic signs after the controlling.

“Satpol PP officer from urban village and sub-district will also safeguard the road routinely,” he finished.
