A Cigarette Billboard on Jalan Cilincing Raya Complained

A cigarette billboard that built on Jalan Cilincing Raya intersection, Cilincing, North Jakarta, complained by local citizens. The billboard is deemed violating the Gubernatorial Regulation No. 1/2015 on Prohibition of Cigarette Billboard and Tobacco Produck Installation on Outdoor Media. 

The rule is indeed exist. But if the permit is not expired yet, we cannot dismantle the billboard

The 5x3 meter billboard also makes the area looks chaotic. 

"We're wondering why the billboard is not dismantled," complained Adi, one of the local citizens, Monday (9/7).

Separately, Cilincing Sub-District Head, Wawan Budi Rohman asserted his side is never picky in law enforcement. 

However, he ensured, the billboard is legal as it has legal permit and pays the tax. 

"The permit is until December. If the permit is already expired, we will dismantle the billboard," he explained. 

In dismantling the billboard, he does it carefully. This is because he had got protest from two entrepreneurs before.

"The rule is indeed exist. But if the permit is not expired yet, we cannot dismantle the billboard," he disclosed.
