According to Agus Irwanto, Head of Pesanggrahan Sub-District, the last dredging was about 25 years ago. Consequently, in every rainy season, his village is always inundated by flooding.

Meanwhile, Head of Water Management Section, Pesanggrahan Sub-District, Siti Marifah stated the dredging was done with a depth of about 2-3 meters.
Nevertheless, she told, the dredging is still experiencing problems. “To smoothen the dredging, we have asked the Water Management Sub-Department to send heavy equipment,” she finished.
