W. Jakarta Parking UP Appreciated Thugs Operation in Tambora

Assistant of West Jakarta Parking Manager Unit (UP), Boedi HS, gave appreciation to Tambora Metro Sector Police that had secured 50 thugs who often charged illegal levies in some public crowd locations.

"All this time, they interrupted revenue of parking attendants," said Boedi in Tambora Metro Sector Police Quarters, Monday (9/7).

He explained, there are 16 official parking attendants assigned in Kota Tua, Asemka, Pasar Pagi and around.

They are equipped with uniform and assignment letter. They charge the retribution based on parking tickets issued by Transportation Department amounted to Rp 2,000 per motorcycle and Rp 5,000 per car.

"The target of our parking revenue is amounted to Rp 1,6 million. It's good, by intensifying the thugs operation, our local revenue would not be declined," he expressed.
