DPRD Building's Parking Managed by Parking UPT

The Parking Technical Management Unit (UPT) for Jakarta Transportation Department began to test out the parking management in City Council (DPRD) building, Jalan Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta. Eventually, it will use gate system and apply the fare with ticket. 

We have installed the tools, as for the connection will be installed in two weeks ahead. After that, it could be socialized. Then, we register which visitors get the free service

"It is just a trial. It will be observed in 10 days ahead," said Head of Jakarta Transportation Department, Andri Yansyah, at City Hall, Monday (9/7). 

Yansyah told, for now the parking fare is still applied manually. When all the parking tools and connection are installed, the management will use gate system.

"We have installed the tools, as for the connection will be installed in two weeks ahead. After that, it could be socialized. Then, we register which visitors get the free service," he told. 

Meanwhile, Head of Facilities and Infrastructure Executor of Parking Technical Management Unit for Jakarta Transportation Department, Siswanto Adi added that for the first step as well as socialization, throughout a week ahead the parking fare is free. 

"If it is already applied normally, the fare for DPRD building is free, civil servant is Rp 11,000 per month. But it is not final yet. As for the car, is Rp 22,000 per month," he uttered. 

While for public, its fare is applied progressively amounting to Rp 2,000 per hour for motorcycle and Rp 4,000 per hour for car. "We have 14 staffs to guard the parking, divided into 4 staffs in motorcycle basement, 2 staffs in car basement, 2 staffs at the gate, 2 staffs in the entrance and 2 supervisors," he closed.
