Fire destroyed one warehouse and three homes located at RT 09/06, Mangga Dua Selatan Urban Village, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (9/9) dawn.
There was no casualty reported in the incident, but the loss is more than Rp 100 million
Head of Operational Section, Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-Department, Muchtar Zakaria disclosed that the fire broke out at 1.30 AM. "We then immediately sent 19 fire trucks to the scene," he expressed.
Luckily, the firemen managed to control the situation within two hours. "Fire burned a 15x20 meters land here." he reported.
