Overloaded Boats in Seribu Islands will Be Controlled

The evaluation of taxi boat ticketing, cruise licensing and boat safety keeps being evaluated by Seribu Islands Transportation Sub-Department.

" We do evaluation to spur up taxi boat revitalization, with expectation all boats could already met the requirement of cruise licensing in October ," said Marihot Marulitua Sirait, Head of Seribu Island Transportation Sub-Department, Wednesday (9/9).

Overload, Passengers of Taxi Boat Asked to Get Off

For boat revitalization and order, Sirait disclosed, his side will control the offender, including overloaded boats.

"If there are overloaded boats, we'll ask them to drop off the passenger," he stressed.

He added, thus far, three taxi boats had been warned, namely KM Miles, KM Garuda Express and KM Isnaini.
