City Hall Visitor Restricted to Parking Recklessly

Jakarta Provincial Government has committed to eliminate roadside parking

Jakarta Provincial Government prepares two parking location for citizens who visit the City Hall. Those two locations are City Council basement and IRTI Monas.

Agustino Darmawan, Head Regional Secretariat of General Bureau, said for those who come from Jalan Kebon Sirih could park their vehicle in City Council basement, while for those who come from Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan could park in IRTI Monas.

His side has made coordination with Dept. of Transportation in order to guard the parking lot.

"Jakarta Provincial Government has committed to eliminate roadside parking," he said, Wednesday (9/9).

Three detector devices are also prepared to secure the City Hall. The devices are placed in City Hall gate, City Hall entrance, and path between City Hall and City Council.

"The visitors must pass the detector device for our safety," he added.
