Children in Seribu Islands will be facilitated with school boat. After an oil mining company approved obligation proposal proposed by the Regency Administration.

The boat's size is above 7 Gross Tonnage (GT), with speed 15-17 knot and has 150-200 seats

Seribu Islands Regent, Budi Utomo stated, principally the company agreed to give school boat.

"The company was agreed. It just needs technical implementation such as auction and permit from main company," he stated, Friday (9/11).

He uttered, the company's approval includes the request idea that boat's seats made of wood like school chairs. Unlike seats for passengers, and as for 2nd floor is provided with library and cafetaria.

"The boat's size is above 7 Gross Tonnage (GT), with speed 15-17 knots and has 150-200 seats. It's quite big thus the permit will be directly from Transportation Ministry," he explained.

The boat procurement which use budget amounted Rp 1.5-2 billion will use auction process. Thus it takes until 6 months ahead.
