The malfunctioned water channel stood atop Jalan Sunan Giri, Rawamangun, Pulogadung, East Jakarta, finally normalized. It is aimed to minimize overflowing water potential during rainy season.

We have to demolish and repair all of it. It is targeted to be done this week

Mukhid, Head of Water Source Maintenance Section for East Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department stated, since a week ago, his party has been conducting normalization. It is Including draining and demolishing the inrit that covered the channel along 100 meters. 

"We did get complained about the malfunctioned channel. In rainy season, the road is often inundated by water from the channel," he disclosed, Sunday (9/13). 

According to him, besides covered by mud and inrit, a part of the sheep pile is also broken. As a result, the sheet pile's wall was collapsed and covers the channel and make it worse. 

" We have to demolish and repair all of it. It is targeted to be done this week," he finished.
