Raid Against Illegal Occupant & Flat Mafia Intensified

Jakarta Public Housing and Government’s Building Department and Police are cooperating to control illegal occupant and flat mafia.

According to Ika Lestari Aji, Head of Public Housing and Governments Building Department, her side has power and confidence to fight the illegal occupant and flat mafia in the capital after getting support from police.

97 Percent of Flat Occupants Mutated ID Card

Ika disclosed the police will accompany to evict flat occupants who have no ID card and refuse to process Bank DKI account. “The raid will be done intensively,” he stressed.

On Friday (9/11), along with North Jakarta Resort Police, her department raided the Muara Baru Flat. And they managed to secure teens of illegal occupants and two mafias.

Besides Muara Baru Flat, another raid also was intensified in Tipar Cakung Flat, last Wednesday (9/9). And succeed to secure some illegal occupants.

“We evict them due to they have no valid data from Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Department. We also warned the staff not to play behind this case,” she uttered.
