Seribu Islands Administration is scheduled to cultivate fish with floating net cages. The method is deemed effective for farmers to increase harvest yields.

Seribu Islands Regent, Budi Utomo said the program is one instruction from Jakarta Governor Basuki “Ahok” T Purnama and is hoped could improve resident's economy and maintain food security.

" Besides running Mr. Governor's instruction, it also aims to prosper resident from various sectors . Then for the future is food security," he disclosed, Tuesday (9/15).

Utomo disclosed his party is going to coordinate with Seribu Islands Marine, Agriculture, and Food Security Sub-Department for its development. Besides farmer group, he wants the floating net cages could also be owned by new group.

"Talk about fund, is from city administration, starting from initial capital, seed, assistance to the result. Certainly, we have prepared its preparation," he uttered.
