Around 257 sacrificial animal's health in shelters that spread in 5 municipalities are examined. They are 17 locations in South Jakarta, 116 locations in East Jakarta, 60 locations in West Jakarta, 18 locations in Central Jakarta and 46 locations in East Jakarta.

We'll continue to conduct the examination until the upcoming Idul Adha

According to Darjamuni, Head of Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security Department, around 16,652 sacrificial animals were examined, with details 7,618 cows, 7,786 goats, 1,194 sheep and 54 buffalos.

He disclosed despite the examination is still unoptimal that last year, it continues to be conducted ahead of Idul Adha.

"We'll continue to conduct the examination until the upcoming Idul Adha. Don’t let sick sacrificial animals sold by resident," he expressed, Tuesday (9/15).

He added that so far, the number of sick animals are still zero. But, there are about six animals experiencing stress. "Luckily, it was already solved,” he reported.
