1,000 Sacrificial Animals, Cows in East Jakarta Examined

East Jakarta Marine, Agriculture, and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-Department had examined 1,000 sacrificial cows that spread in hundreds of animal shelters in Pulogadung, Makasar, Matraman, Cakung, Jatinegara and Duren Sawit Sub-Districts.

Based on initial schedule, the examination was supposed to be conducted on 14 days before Idul Adha. The examination scheduled was accelerated due to many sacrificial animal distributed and it aims to prevent disease.

“Last year, there were 477 animal shelters. But this year, the shelter is still being recorded while doing sweeping and examination,” he uttered.

She added, sticker was plastered in the shelters that had passed examination. And residents are hoped to choose shelter that has examination sticker.
