Karang Anyar Street Vendors Relocated to 4 Traditional Markets

As many as 236 street vendors along Jalan Pasar Karang Anyar, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta, will be relocated to 4 traditional markets

Currently there have been 123 vendors relocated to Karanganyar market and the rests will be given a list so that they can choose the 3 other markets

Central Jakarta Economic and Administration Assistant, sulastri Gultom stated, those traditional markets are Karanganyar, Timbul Kartini, Rajawali and Manggadua Selatan market.

"All street vendors will be relocated to 4 traditional markets. Currently there have been 123 vendors relocated to Karanganyar market and the rests will be given a list so that they can choose the 3 other markets," she explained, Wednesday (9/16).

236 Karang Anyar Street Vendors will Be Controlled Soon

She expressed, those vendors relocated will be freed by rental cost for 6 months. "But they obligate to pay electricity and water dues as their needs. Principally, there is no demolishment without relocation," she expressed.
