Channel Along Jalan Pasar Karang Anyar will Be Normalized

To prevent street vendors back to occupy Jalan Pasar Karang Anyar, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta, the water channel of the road will be normalized.

Let the road be normal and functioned as it is supposed to be

Central Jakarta Mayor, Mangara Pardede stated, the normalization of the channel along 800 meter and width 1 meter will be conducted by the Water Management Sub-Department.

"After the demolishment, all will be refunctioned. Let the road be normal and functioned as it is supposed to be. All this time it could not be passed by vehicles due to many stalls," he disclosed, Wednesday (9/16).

Connecting Channel in Gandaria Selatan Cleaned

To ease officers conducting maintenance and controlling, the channel will let be opened. It also aims to prevent it re-used by street vendors.

"If the channel is not drain, it will spread smell. Citizens are easy to help supervising. Thus related officers could drain the channel quickly," he expressed.
