As many as 12 Infrastructures and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers were deployed to clean trash piles in Karang River located at Pejagalan, Penjaringan, North Jakarta.

"It's a routine activity, we clean it up yet the trash is piled up again," explained Yani Wahyu Purwoko, Penjaringan Sub-District Head, Saturday (9/18).

She appealed North Jakarta citizens especially Penjaringan residents not to litter the river.
"We should maintain cleanliness of our environment," she expressed.
