City Logo Will be Set in 2018 Asian Games

The meeting between City Administration and Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) in Asghabat, Turkmenistan, brought some agreement results. One of them is a logo of City Administration in mascot of 2018 Asian Games activity.

Jakarta to hold the Youth Asian Games will also be held in 2017. That is by presenting maximal 10 sport branches

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat acknowledged that another agreement is to set Jakarta as the venue of welcoming and closing Asian Games event. As for the transportation for athletes from Soekarno-Hatta Airport towards homestead athlete will be handled by central government.

“Furthermore, Jakarta to hold the Youth Asian Games will also be held in 2017. That is by presenting maximal 10 sport branches,” he uttered, Monday (9/21).

Jakarta can Be Equal With Other Cities Around the World

He added that four obligations must be met by City Administration. Among them  is by developing a velodrome in Rawamangun and a homestead athlete in Kemayoran, as well as mass transportation.

“MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) and LRT (Light Raod Transit) should be complete prior to the event begins,” he finished.
