Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T. Purnama is scheduled to conduct homestead athlete groundbreaking in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta after his visit to Rotterdam, Netherlands.

While to conduct groundbreaking we still await a letter

Governor Deputy for Jakarta Tourism and Culture Section, Sylviana Murni admitted in early September, soft launching, logo and mascot had been conducted. While groundbreaking will be conducted after Basuki visit from Rotterdam, Netherlands.

“We indeed about to prepare soft launching merely for logo and mascot. While to conduct groundbreaking we still await a letter,” she said, Wednesday (9/23).

However, in accordance with decision of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) the term of homestead athlete change to Athletes Village.

“After Asian Games event executed, the building designation back to us,” she disclosed.
