About 2,400 tourists flocked to Untung Jawa Island, Seribu Selatan Island, since Thursday (9/24) yesterday.  The monitoring over ship haulage becomes main goal for the sake of passengers safety.

“ We predicted there are 2,400 tourists come to the Island ,” said Marihot Marulitua Sirait, Head of Seribu Island Transportation Sub-Department, Friday (9/25).

His side will never stop to monitor. Even more, the officer is assigned with two shifts. “Mostly, tourist come from Tanjung Pasir Port, Tangerang, Banten. We’ll monitor until night,” he uttered.

Sirait acknowledged the number of visitors from Tangerang are detected from the boat capacity.

“Monitoring remains to be done to prevent the overloaded boat. Thus they have to transport passengers twice,” he closed.
