Jakarta Provincial Government keeps adding Child-Friendly Public Space (RPTRA). If this year the city administration constructs 60 parks, while next year is 150 parks. The construction is not using city budget fully, but taken from corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama (Ahok), said there will be 60 RPTRAs by the end of this year in Jakarta. There are four parks already opened, while the rests are being constructed.

" We are still working on the other 56 loc ations. They must finish in November and December. Next year we'll add 150 locations," he said, Wednesday (9/30).

He requested the regional working unit (SKPD) to prepare budget for buying land starting this year. "There is no problem with this year project. We must buy land for next year's project," he added.

The RPTRA construction is a CSR program. The private who joint the program is able to put the company logo on the location.

"The budget remains prepared for this project. But if there is private company wants to join, then the budget will be re-arranged in budget amendment," he explained.

The CSR program eases him to know the unit price of RPTRA. "One RPTRA costs Rp 700 million," he disclosed.
