Basuki: Relocation of Bidara Cina Evictess must Be Accelerated

Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T Purnama commanded his ranks to immediately relocate Bidara Cina evictees as soon as possible.

The evictees must be relocated if the flat is done

“When the flat is under construction, just say to Public Housing and Government’s Building, residents who have agreed to move, just let them in. It's like purchase a house,” he said, when he led an executive meeting at City Hall, Monday (10/12).

The statement is following a report from East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardana who complained unprepared infrastructure facilities in Cipinang Besar Selatan (Cibesel) Flat for Bidara Cina evictees.

The evictees must be relocated if the flat is done. They can help us to check and control,” he uttered.

Ahok conveyed that there are flats in the city that were built together with the central government. That means the completion of facility and infrastructure construction could not be handled alone by city administration.

"Honestly, there are a number of joint project of flats in city that taken long time," he stated.

Meanwhile, Bambang Mursyawardana confessed mostly Bidaracina residents who had been relocated to Cibesel Flat are complaining about water and electricity problem.

"We are trying to persuade Public Housing and Government’s Building Department to handle this matter," he disclosed.
