BPOM Targeting Two Lokbin to Be Examined

Central Jakarta Administration and Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM) will examine foods and drinks containing hazardous substances that sell in the guidance markets (Lokbin) in the near future.

We’ll about to do examination next week against two locations

Central Jakarta Economic and Administration Assistant, Sulastri Gultom stated her side already proposed Jakarta Food and Drug Monitoring Agency to examine foods containing hazardous substances which targeting hundreds of street vendors located in two guidance locations.

“We’ll about to do examination next week against two locations,” she uttered, Tuesday (10/13).

BPOM Involved to Arrange Street Vendors in Central Jakarta

According to her, the limited budget caused the examination merely carry in two locations. Nevertheless, in next 2016, the examination will be carried out in the whole guidance locations.

“We’ll search the distributor, in case of harm substances found. We’ll also strict warned the vendor,” he conveyed.

However, she is reluctant to give information about the specific location. “I want this operation could run smoothly without leak,” she disclosed.
