The CEO and Founder of ojek (motorcycle-taxi) booking app Go-Jek, Nadiem Makarim admitted that he is ready to assist Jakarta Transportation Department and police to control Go-Jek drivers who use sidewalk as their base.

Makariem also intends to direct Go-Jek drivers not to use public facilities as their base, but they have to move into the environment roads.

“We’ll direct our Go-Jek driver soon. The point is we ready to cooperate with Transportation Department and police,” he stressed, Wednesday (10/7).

As a businessman, he explained, does not give any base facility.

He is optimistic Transportation Department and police's way can be a solution, as long as it does not disturb locals.

“We’ll impose sanction against the ignorant drivers by giving them yellow card (warning),” he finished.
