As many as 60 illegal buildings at Jalan Rawasari Selatan, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta will be demolished.

On the road there are also 2 houses as wide as 300 m that haven't been acquired. If they are done, the road could immediately be connected to Jalan Ahmad Yani

Cempaka Putih Sub-District Head, Lola Livita stated the demolishment will be conducted after the residents get flat. Currently, the socialization keeps being held.

"On the road there are also 2 houses as wide as 300 m that haven't been acquired. If they are done, the road could immediately be connected to Jalan Ahmad Yani," she explained, Wednesday (10/7).

According to her, the demolishment is conducted as those buildings standing on water channel thus makes the area often get flooded when raining. It also aims to ease Central Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department and Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-Department that located on the road.

"We hope the demolishment could be accelerated, moreover there are residents living unworthy," he expressed.
