Sunter River located in Pondok Ranggon Urban Village, East Jakarta, polluted by chicken manure waste from chicken shelter and slaughterhouse in Pondok Aren area, Bekasi City. Hence, there should be cross-region coordination.

There should be distance between building with river

East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardana instructs Head of Pondok Aren Urban Village to coordinate with related apparatus regarding waste from chicken shelter and slaughterhouse in Pondok Aren.

“I give instruction in order to find solution during communal work,” he stated, Monday (10/12).

He assessed, the owner did not consider the availability of waste disposal sites. Moreover, the place is located on the banks of river, where it should not be allowed by the local government.

“There should be distance between building with river. The shelter is located in Pondok Aren thus we cannot give pressure to them to fix it,” he exclaimed.
