Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat wants to set up healthy canteen in each school in the capital city. By doing so, the tighten supervision over healthy food and beverage ease to be controlled.

According to him, the healthy canteen purposes to prevent drugs circulation through foods or drinks.

“ Drug trafficking from million ways including from food and drinks, that’s why healthy canteen is needed to be provided ,” he said, Thursday (10/8).

Nevertheless, he appealed Jakarta Education Department to record trader sell around the school. By doing so, school party can direct ban trader to sell in case they aren’t registered in a list.

“I’ve appealed the Education Department to record trader around the school including test the foods,” he disclosed.
