Tens of prostitution rooms under Jelambar Baru toll were demolished by Satpol PP officers assisted by Infrastructures and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers.
Those buildings are often used as prostitution place at night
Vice Head of Grogol Petamburan Sub-District, Nuraini Silvia said, her side has repeatedly warned the owners of those illegal buildings to move immediately.
"Those buildings are often used as prostitution place at night. That's why, we demolish them," she stated, Friday (10/9).
Besides demolishing the buildings, her party also pruned tens of bamboo trees on the roadside. As all this time, the roadside is used as the storage of used woods.
In the demolishment, as many as 15 Satpol personnel and 20 PPSU personnel deployed.
