Elementary School Students in West Jakarta Participated in Hand Washing Movement

Hundreds of Elementary School (SD) students in West Jakarta participated in hand washing with soap movement at east parking lot of mayor office, Thursday (10/15). The event was held from corporate social responsibility (CSR) from one of companies.

It aims to accustom citizens applying the Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS)

West Jakarta Mayor, Anas Efendi welcomed well the event and hoped in future CSR keeps supporting and helping to provide hand washing place in public facilities, government office including in sub-districts, urban villages and health centers.

Prevent Violence Case, Headmen Instructed to Supervise Schools

"It aims to accustom citizens applying the Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS)," he told.

Besides that, he also appealed parents and teachers to remind the children and students to accustom washing their hands with soap before and after eating thus they would be avoided from any bacteria.

"Remind our children and students to always wash their hands. Just exemplifies it directly, so that the good habit become culture in society," he expressed.
