Seribu Islands Industry and Energy Sub-Department allocated a huge power of 164,000 watts for water Reverse Osmosis (IPA RO) treatment plant in Seribu Islands.

Head of Seribu Islands Industry and Energy Sub-Department, Meilinda Sagala acknowledged the all inhabited islands in Seribu Islands are currently having IPA RO with electrical power.

“The needed watt is 164 KVA or 164,000 watts, especially for reverse osmosis in Seribu Islands,” he said, Monday (10/19).
Meilinda added the additional power will be done in several islands. “For power additional IPA RO power, has been prepared in its lanes and we just do the installation matter,” he stated.
In the meantime, she added, there is no demand regarding additional power from Water Management Department for machine replacement with higher power capacity to process sea water into fresh water.
