As many as 100 sacks of sediment were dredged from water channel along Jalan Palem Raya, Tugu Utara Urban Village, North Jakarta.
They're using manual tools as the channel is not quite huge. The residents should also participate maintaining the channel cleanliness
"The channel's width is 2 meter and dredged along 400 m. It's already full of sediment making the capacity decreased," said Tugu Utara Urban Village Head, Nandang Hidayat, Friday (10/23).

He continued, as many as 30 infrastructure and Public Facility Handling (PPSU) officers were involved in the cleaning action.
