As many as 60 sacks of sediment were dredged from water channel along Jalan Mawar, RT 01/13 Bintaro Urban Village, South Jakarta.

"This is as anticipation and follow-up of citizens’ complaint. As the channel is already full with sediment and trash," said Secretary of Bintaro Urban Village, Maryono, Tuesday (10/6).

According to Maryono, the channel has not been dredged for so long. "We instructed Infrastructures and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers to dredge it. Thus the water flow could be maximal during rainy season," he told.
