Culture Stage Event to Be Held in Sub-District Routinely

East Jakarta Administration is holding a Betawi Culture and Archipelago event at Boneng Field, Jalan Bambu Wulung, Cipayung, Friday (10/23) night.

This event is a chance to introduce Betawi and archipelago culture and entertain residents in Cipayung Sub-District

East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardana said the event will routinely be held every month in different sub-districts.

" This event is a chance to introduce Betawi and archipelago culture and entertain residents in Cipayung Sub-District ," he stated.

Musyawardhana added that residents who have expertise in art and culture field are welcome to perform on stage.

"This stage is yours, show your best performance," he uttered.

Head of East Jakarta Tourism and Culture Sub-Department, Triyugo Prasetyo acknowledged the event could be a good role model for youth through various arts, dances and folk songs.

"It'ssexpected to be positive youth entertainment that could be a good example to preserve Betawi culture," he disclosed.
