75 Illegal Billboards in Penjaringan Controlled

10 joint officers of Satpol PP and Penjaringan Local Tax Service (UPPD) successfully controlled 75 illegal billboards in Penjaringan, North Jakarta, Monday (10/26).

Head of Penjaringan Local Tax Service, Faisal Syafrudin acknowledged those billboards are controlled due to violate the aesthetic, ethics of buildings harmony aspects.

“Worst thing is they (billboard) standing on City Administration's plots and not meet tax payment,” he uttered.
Syafrudin furthered that such controlling was targeted in some streets in Penjaringan Sub-District. They are Jalan Jembatan Tiga, Pluit Selatan Raya, Gedung Panjang, Pakin and Jalan Muara Baru. “From those areas we controlled 75 illegal billboards,” he mentioned.
However, its existence is quite rampant in Penjaringan. “We’ll control illegal billboards every weekend,” he stressed.
