Waste Thrower in the River Hunted

Jakarta Cleanliness Department is haunting the pollution and environmental destruction actors in the capital city. Harsh sanction will be imposed as deterrent effect.

Truck has no permit obligated to pay a fine of Rp 5-10 million and its actor Rp 500 thousand

“We just want to optimally punish and reward. Surely, there is sanction, where waste thrower and waste truck driver in the river will be controlled,” said Isnawa Adji, Head of Jakarta Cleanliness Department, Monday (10/26).

Citizens Asked to Actively Participate Report Waste Offender

According to Adji, the important thing is Jakarta must have a tight supervision over cleanliness handling. For instance, if the waste trucks dispose waste carelessly and illegal, we will control them forcibly.

Truck has no permit obligated to pay a fine of Rp 5-10 million and its actor Rp 500 thousand,” he stressed.

He added that it is very unethical. “This is wrong. I always find this case in the field, but I have not checked it. Moreover, dirty water should be disposed to Duri Kosambi and Pulogebang areas,” he stated.

As planned, he is going to summon dirty disposing company owners. “If they are illegal, we will process them," he asserted.
