Hundreds of School and College Students Get Aid From Bazis

Hundreds of school and college students in East Jakarta received aid of education fund from the Jakarta Alms and Donation Agency (Bazis). As much as Rp 787.500.000 fund that was donated by citizens and East Jakarta Administration are distributed.

"The fund collected will be returned to the needy," said East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardhana, Wednesday (10/28).

The fund is distributed to 450 school students and 500 college students. "Each high school student receives Rp 750,000 per semester, as for college student receives Rp 900,000 per semester," he explained.
Besides education fund, East Jakarta Bazis also gave aid for the implementation of SDM quality improvement seminar amounted to Rp 81,500,000.
East Jakarta Bazis successfully collected fund from citizens and civil servants by Rp 17.729.566.379 or 66.90 of target revenue 2015 by Rp 26.500.000.000.
