Determination of 2016 UMP Postponed

Basuki explained, this year's UMP does not deviate from the Government Regulation No. 78/2015 on Equal Remuneration. In accordance with the formula on its regulation, the Jakarta's UMP is Rp 3,030,000 million. Of it is based on the city administration's formula, it reaches Rp 3.13 million.

"To keep holding the regulation, I asked the entrepreneurs to increase its amount. So, the deal is Rp 3.1 million,” he explained.

According to him, City Administration has own formula to determine UMP since 2013. Thus there is no longer a long debate, between company and worker.

"No one can deny it anymore. In 2013, the amount rose higher. In 2014, the standard cost of living (KHL) was declined. Then in 2015, the debate can be controlled due to many understand the formula," he disclosed.
