13 Illegal Buildings in Pulogadung Demolished by The Owners

As many as 13 semi-permanent buildings standing on water channel along Jalan Taruna RT 14/10 and RT 12/03 Pulogadung Urban Village, East Jakarta, have been demolished by the owners following with warning letter sent by the local urban village.

Pulogadung Urban Village Head, Agusno Harahap predicted, those teens of buildings had been built for 20 years. Commonly those buildings were used as business places.

"Including machine shop, stall and, motorcycle wash," he stated, Saturday (10/31).

Beritajakarta.com observation, a number of the building owners look busy pruning the part of the buildings which take the channel.

"We're consistent in enforcing rules, that would be wasted if they're demolished using heavy equipment," he disclosed.
