937 Taxpayers in West Jakarta Still in Arrears

"Around 35.48 percent of taxpayers are still in arrears. The rest are 1,704 taxpayers or 65.62 percent, are on time paying tax to local treasury," stated Umiyati, when she welcomed the work visit of Tangerang City Council (DPRD) Commission III, Monday (11/2).

She added that her side continues to charge taxpayers to immediately pay off the tax, even though their business is bankrupt.
"They have to pay off tax as soon as possible, because tax revenue has been included in the determination of local revenue plan," she expressed.
Based on data of West Jakarta Tax Service Sub-Dept, there are currently 2,641 taxpayers listed, consisting of 1,826 restaurants, 469 hotels, 229 entertainments, and 117 parking.
"From deposit arrears result, it is reaching Rp 10 billion," Umiyati reported.
